THE MAN BEHIND THE LENS
I’m Steven, and I am a storyteller. I live in the heart of County Antrim with my wife, our three children, and our dog, Murphy. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me out on the road clearing my head on a run or spending time with my family. My Christian faith is the foundation of everything I do; it shapes how I see the world and how I value the people I have the privilege of photographing.
Fifteen years into this journey, weddings don’t just interest me, they excite me more than ever. I truly love every facet of this industry, from the high-fashion energy of the morning prep to the quiet, sacred moments of the ceremony. For me, it isn’t just about taking a picture; it’s about honouring your story with the care and artistry it deserves.
AWARDS
Since 2013, I've picked up 48 industry awards, including Overall Wedding Photographer of the Year and Wedding Photographer of the Year, both won multiple times through the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland. I've also served as President of PPANI, which is the body that sets the standard for professional photography across the region.
I don't lead with the awards because I think they're the point. I lead with them because you're making a significant decision and you deserve to know that the work has been independently judged, repeatedly, against the best wedding photographers in Northern Ireland. That's what the numbers mean.
THE APPROACH

Fifteen years photographing weddings across Northern Ireland and Ireland taught me one thing: the best photographs happen when people forget I'm there. So that's where I spend most of the day. Watching. Waiting. Letting it unfold.
When the light is right or the moment calls for it, I'll step in. We'll find a quiet corner of the castle or the grounds, spend a few minutes together, and make something worth framing. Then you're back with your guests.

The Candid Narrative: Unscripted, fleeting moments caught with precision. The laughter, the tearful toasts, and the wild dance floor energy, preserved exactly as they happened, but framed like art.
