Eimear & Niall – A Laidback July Wedding at Bellingham Castle

Some weddings just feel like sunshine from start to finish—and Eimear & Niall’s day at Bellingham Castle was exactly that. A warm July afternoon, a stunning castle setting, and two people who genuinely couldn’t stop smiling at each other all day.

These two are both from Kilkerley, just a few kilometres apart. There was something really special about photographing a couple who know the same roads, people, and pace of life.

From morning prep to the mad dance floor later on, the whole day had such an easy flow. Eimear got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids and family, looking absolutely stunning in her dress from The White Room, Mullingar. Hair was by the brilliant Sarah Keogh and make-up by Cathy Brennan, and the whole morning was full of laughter, nerves, and that lovely mix of calm chaos that means it’s finally wedding day.

Niall and the lads looked sharp in suits from TW Menswear, Carrickmacross, and spirits were high well before the ceremony started. Bellingham’s grounds were in full bloom thanks to the incredible The Flower Barrow, who created the most natural, soft-toned florals that suited the setting perfectly.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and relaxed, with beautiful music by Olivia Romeo, and not a dry eye in the place by the time they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.

Drinks in the sunshine kicked off the celebrations, with live music by Fáinne setting the tone—traditional, fun, and full of life. Their film team, Diamond Wedding Films, were an absolute pleasure to work alongside and captured the atmosphere so naturally.

And the party? Let’s just say the dance floor was hopping. The Fuzzy Burgers brought serious energy, and the craic went well into the night. The mix of local faces, genuine connections, and the stunning setting made for a wedding that was just... real. No fuss. No stress. Just two great people, celebrating the way they wanted to.

Eimear & Niall, thanks so much for having me there to document it all. Wishing you both all the happiness.
